We were workers at Bain Capital-owned Sensata, 2520 Walnut St, Freeport, Illinois. We fought to save our jobs from being shipped to China! We were unsuccessful in keeping our jobs, but are still fighting the good fight against outsourcing!

Tomorrow is A Big Day for Bainport Rev. Jackson is Coming Back
Rev. Jackson was moved by those he met here in Bainport and has let us know he’ll be returning to Bainport tomorrow at 12pm to rally with Sensata leaders and community supporters. Yesterday we marched to Sensata and demanded to speak to the plant manager about why we are being outsourced. We were denied entry and returned to Bainport. He is returning tomorrow at Noon and this time we will not be moved until we are treated with dignity and dealt with in good faith.
